the trophy has been officially taken away...
i met chandru yesterday... narcissist down to earth... sweet guy...
and he took away the trophy... maroing adda in cp has its own charms...
mad women... urchins begging around for ice... from mc donalds soft drink cups...
lights all around the central park... the mix and match of old and new buildings...living old memories, walking around with ciggerates and like it always happens in cp... meeting long lost friends... talking about bans on public smoking and looking around for thullas...
good old cp...
A: "abbe pagal hai kya, itna jaldi kyun ja raha hai?"
C: "yaar, i really need to go"
A: "kyun kya hua??"
C: "i dont wanna be raped..."
A: "huh?"
C: well dwarka wala route raat ko bahut khaali ho jata hai, i dont want to be called metrosexual"
A: (exasperated) the trophy is yours
S: (silent for about 1 and a half hour before this) (starts laughing) haan bhai trophy teri hi ho gayi
update.... had a lovely evening yesterday with caramel something-or-the-other and then suttas and walks... then a lovely dinner, and music, paan and a drive back home....
met two new people...new people who i had heard so much about.. it was as if i knew them from earlier than i remember.... pradeep and shekhar..
