it has been one of the most interesting weekends ever. how do you explain your first tour "band tour" with a bunch of 6 amazing people... 2 of who are "old" friends?? i dont know which is more exciting... the fact that im coming on stage after such a long time??? or staying in a fucking palace, with 7 servants at your disposal, not even having to get up to get a glass of water(believe me if you do get up, you get scolded....by agomoni atleast) and having amazing food, and drinks every night.
spending nights after nights chatting up... the journey was memorable... specially the fact that it was freezing in the night and we all cursed vikram while he slept snug under his warm blanket. by the next morning, all our throats were "kinda" gone, adrak vaali chaye and warm water doing the trick for us to perform that evening.
ahmednagar is a fantastic place. and we stay in a house in the cantonment area surrounded by lush green landscapes, and windmills over a small hilltop on the horizon. its exceptionally beautiful and i wish i could spend some more time here, painting and singing... reading under the morning sun in the winters (not that i get up s o early) rushabhs mother is an amazing hostess.... she has taken care of everything.... i just dont feel like doing anything actually. just laze around all day.
the gig was in the night... we met deepa malik who actuallly is amazing... sports person completely... a biker (i just think thats the most amazing thing about her ) a national and international level swimmer... and she has a daughter who is 18.... she has a fantastic sense of dressing. by the way she on the roadies show too...
the gig itself was good.. we were sounding fairly nice.... i think we looked good on stage, and did well too... should thank dev. slightly nervous though... but we were good yaar... i think i shall put up parts of our show on youtube... then giv u guys a link...
